Directions
The building is the Three Season Shelter at Mingo Park in Delaware. The address is 99 E. Lincoln Ave, Delaware, OH 43015; phone (740) 368-1540. Here is a map: Mingo Park. Here is a more detailed map of where the facility is. The shelter is in the trees beside the parking lot just south of the tennis courts. Once you make it to the park, you should take a right after going under US 23 on Lincoln, curve around the swimming pools, and then follow the same path NE to the parking lot.

Stream Restoration Tour Schedule
9:30am Board bus and depart from Mingo Park shelter house.
10 am McKibben Ditch (tentative). At this site we will see a channelized agricultural ditch in several different stages of maintenance. We will discuss the potential for agricultural ditches to recover some ecological services, including flood attenuation and pollutant assimilation. Participants will discuss the benefits and drawbacks of various types of riparian vegetation and stream maintenance programs on stream function.
11:30am Stream restoration project in Marion. We will see and discuss an example of a stream restoration project using ecological engineering principles, including a natural, self-forming, and overwide channel design. We will have lunch at the Marion site.
2 pm We will see a constructed stream restoration project in New Albany. We will discuss the pros and cons of engineering the stream channel, sinuosity, riffles and pools and riparian vegetation.
3:30pm Arrive at Mingo Park (end of tour)
3:30-4 pm Ohio Watershed Academy Graduation
